Seed-Time Going Forward
After a courageous three month battle with pancreatic cancer, Ashley Day went home to be with the Lord on March 29th, 2014. At that transitional time the board of directors, who formerly and faithfully met with Pastor Day, felt unified in their handing the ministry's responsibility and decision making over to Ashley's family.
'Seed-Time' was so named because it best captured his passion for teaching and spreading the seed of the Word far and wide. With Ashley no longer at the helm of this non-profit organization, our initial concern was whether the radio programs could be maintained, as they cost ~$60,000.00 per year. At that time, letters, gifts, affirming emails and calls assured us of the Lord's direction to continue as long as the funds were there. To have been able to continue this way until May of 2023 was such an encouragement to us. We were eventually forced to cut stations, downsizing our radio broadcast reach due to costs. Nevertheless, these life-giving messages are being heard on three stations. Thank you to those of you who email us, who pray and who faithfully give, enabling us to keep Seed-Time going. The labor of love of those involved while he was alive, has continued and we are excited to see what the Lord will do with this ministry even after He has called its founder home! Site photographs are being provided by Golden Light Photography, various friends, family members, Pixaby and Weebly. We do appreciate each one's willingness to share their artwork! Accessibility of almost all of Pastor Day's audio messages are now freely available here on this site to any who come to listen. Our desire is that God's Word continues to be sown, that the Holy Spirit reveals His truth to any seeking heart and foremost, that He is glorified. May the Lord bless you richly as you hide His word in your heart. |
