Welcome to the Teaching Legacy of Pastor Ashley Day
This site was created to honor the life and ministry of Pastor Ashley Day by freely sharing nearly 800 audio messages from his forty-five years of faithful teaching. He recognized the life-giving potential encapsulated in seed Truth. The Lord took these messages from the pulpit, moving them onto the radio waves; they were later captured in book form and have made their way to this website. In the 8th chapter of Luke's Gospel the ground receiving the seed is that of the human heart. Whether or not the hearing of Truth germinates and multiplies is in the hand of the divine gardener and depends upon the condition of the soil.
A Lifetime of Ministry
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20"

Known for seeking the Lord’s voice before turning to commentaries, Pastor Day taught with clarity, conviction, and humility. He embraced a literal interpretation of Scripture, allowing Scripture to interpret Scripture, and relied on the Spirit to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Each message is concise and is delivered in under 30 minutes. We invite you to explore this rich archive and be encouraged by the timeless truths Pastor Day so faithfully proclaimed.
Faithful Teaching
“In the beginning was the Word ... the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:1,14
Popular Messages ...
"Is Jesus really the Christ, the Son of God?"
"How can God be three in One: Father, Son and Holy Spirit?"
For Ashley Day, one truth grew clearer over time: only Jesus can live the Christian life. We are never sufficient in ourselves, a reality which is often missed, yet one meant to set us free. This foundational truth runs like a golden thread through the Seed-Time messages. In essence, sanctification is about being conformed to the image of Christ. It’s all about a relationship with the living Lord… Anything short of this becomes a legalistic and works-based religion.
Authorship
More details of Pastor Day’s writings can be found on our BOOKS page, and the links will lead you to Amazon.

It was in his retirement, when the demands of pulpit ministry were behind him, that Ashley Day began to write. From 2004 – 2013 he authored eleven commentaries and a personal biography, "Saved to Serve." The script of the commentaries, in most cases, lines up with his audio messages. Having a copy in hand while listening to the message is sometimes helpful for further study; and this combination can be an excellent Small Group or Home Bible Study tool.
