The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

The Scriptures tell that God will eventually put a stop to the rampage of sin on this earth and they predict catastrophic conditions on a global scale at the end of this age.
They also indicate that the next great event on the Biblical calendar is the sudden unexpected and irrevocable return of  Christ for His own. His return is mentioned 318 times in the New Testament alone and the Old Testament contains many references to it as well.

But as we revisit these verses, we find that the descriptions of the Lord's coming cannot be reconciled apart from being two distinctly different events; one of which being the rapture of the Church. So in this series we will consider the differences Scripture places between the two events.
1) Why the Seeming Contradictions?
2) Two Great Events
3) The Removal of the Restrainer
4) The Millennium
Ephesians 2:8 "By grace are you saved through faith...it is the gift of God."
