Christmas Message from 1997
God has provided illumination for the human soul, but it is inseparable from the life vested in His Son. Man's condition of spiritual darkness was precisely the reason the Lord Jesus came.

When old Simeon held the infant Christ-child, he called Him “a light to lighten the Gentiles and the glory of Thy people Israel.”
Later the Apostle John wrote “In Him was life and the life was the light of men.” Jesus said of Himself to the religious rulers of His day “I am the light of the world: he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12 |
