Christmas Message from 2001
- Those who believe can celebrate Christmas with joyful hearts, because it marks the birth of their personal Savior; the One in whom they have placed their trust and through whom they have received forgiveness and eternal life.
- Those who do not believe have nothing to celebrate over Christmas, because their sins are not forgiven and they have no hope for the future. In fact, today in public places, Santa Claus has become the accepted substitute for the Christ of Christmas.… He is a useful, profitable, innocuous substitute for the real thing! He doesn’t ask for surrender or for service. He is portrayed as a mysterious, sweet-hearted old man, who lives in a faraway place and knows boys and girls and their behavior; while providing a reason for eating, drinking and celebrating absolutely nothing!

The royal One, Who the wise men came to worship, changed the course of history and split the human race forever into two parts: those who do believe and those who do not believe.
