Facing Trouble & Trials

Eventually we all face problems that threaten to overwhelm us. Job said, “Man is born to trouble as the sparks fly upward.” In Isaiah 41, God gives His people two great promises. The first is a promise of immediate assistance in the crisis. The second is a promise of ultimate victory.
​Perspective is everything! Our wills are involved in the eventual outcome. Fear looks inward and evaluates our coping skills based upon our own inadequacy and frailty. While faith looks away from self and reckons the battle to be the Lord’s!
