In Search of Joy

Happiness is directly linked to our circumstances and our emotions, like a thermometer, naturally rise and fall accordingly.

Joy is an entirely different entity. It is indivisible from the Lord Jesus, in whose “…presence is fullness of joy…and pleasures for evermore” Psalm 16:11.  He prayed for us in John 17:13 “…these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.” 

The personal challenge of this message is whether the spiritual fruit of joy is evident in my life, regardless of my circumstances?
