Reign of King Asa

King Asa was one of the most interesting of Judah's kings. He cleansed the land from idolatry and renewed the altar, which had been desecrated. Eventually he was attacked by an army of one million Ethiopians and, by his faith in God, saw their overthrow. However, later in his reign he made mistakes which seriously undermined his success. This is a fascinating study embodying very up-to-date principles.
