Highlight -November/December 2020

The salvation of the immortal soul is intensely practical. Outside of Christ, the soul’s peril is very real. There is an actual destination which already exists and left to itself, every soul is heading there.
Our souls, whether we are Christians or not, are eternal and the essence of the word “eternal” is that there is no end... An eternal thing will always be! The comfortable idea that “death is the end of things” has no support in Scripture. Your soul will “always be” somewhere -either with God in glory or consciously separated from Him.
When we speak of “salvation” we are not referring to a nebulous religious experience but to a real and practical deliverance from a life-threatening situation. Salvation is an act of deliverance beyond anything we can possibly imagine! ​

The following two messages from I Peter 1:10-12 and 1:3-9 delve into the marvel and wonder of the salvation in Christ currently offered to us.  I have intentionally reversed the order of these messages here.

​If you die without trusting Christ, your soul will experience a separation as you leave time and enter eternity. You will be awake, alert and able to remember, grieve and regret, without any hope of relief, ever! You'll find yourself in a sphere where you'll experience unending consciousness. Being shut out from God, in whom is all goodness, all love, all joy and all light, strikes a note of loneliness  and unimaginable despair.  Because, once done, there will be no remedy. It will be a final, total hopeless separation.
