| Scripture describes the believing human body, soul, and spirit as a temple, the dwelling place of God. How much access does He really have? Are we allowing walls to grow up in our hearts to limit and conceal Him? The Holy Spirit is God Himself, with all the power of the Godhead dwelling within the individual and corporate life of the believer; saving, guiding, comforting, guarding and empowering us to meet any challenge our lives may encounter. His claim over us comes with rich blessing. | Hebrews 4:1 "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. ... 11 Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief." |
