The Epistle to the Romans

Romans
A grasp of one's identity is a vital factor in the mental and spiritual health of every human being. Without it, we do not know who or what we are or where we fit in the over-all picture. Our identity gives us a foundation, perspective and purpose. Paul writes “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
2 Corinthians 5:17

A study in Romans (a 45-message series) will be a wonderful way to launch the New Year! The apostle Paul begins this book by focusing upon our personal and corporate identity in the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Despite its thoroughness, Romans does not read like a dry book of theology. Great revivals in church history have been spawned by a study of this book. Augustine, Martin Luther and John Wesley all trace their spiritual renewals to a reading of Romans. Within its chapters, it gives the…final answer to questions about the ‘meaning of life’.” Philip Yancey

Hello! This is my first time contacting Seed Time Ministries. I'm trying to find an audio or print-out of today's message, which I heard on my Christian radio station KWILL, Albany, Oregon, this AM. Jan. 1st, 2017.The sermon spoke of Paul's letter, written while in a Roman prison, awaiting his death. The letter spoke of being a servant, serving to give, and not to get. The letter was dictated to Paul's faithful servant, who was willing to stand with Paul to the end--Tertious--who wrote the letter for Paul in Romans 16.The sermon spoke to my heart regarding an issue which has had me despairing for some time. The sermon gave me the perspective I need to go forward, with my eyes on serving Jesus, and not what I see or don't see in those I'm serving. Serving to please my Lord, NOT people, who don't give anything back, and may indeed--not appreciate my service to them. Thank you for these wonderful sermons, which apply God's Word to our lowly, daily lives! God Bless and prosper your ministry. In Jesus, Sue Reed Wery
